Phillip showed up early, diagnosed my sprinkler issues, and fixed the problems in about 20 minutes. He was very courteous and informative. We have used this company 3 times and every time they have done a great job. A plus company!
STAY AWAY! This company has literally been nothing but trouble. Called Builders & Landscape Service to come out to look at a rain sensor they had installed. Charged a service fee of $80 to look at the issue and diagnose it. The first technician that came out was unable to diagnose the issue. A second team came out to diagnose the issue and discovered the sensor was not wired correctly. Builders & Landscape Service tried to charge another fee on top of the service fee but I was able to recoup this additional charge after I explained they originally installed the product. Flash forward 30 Days later and the same issue is occurring. I called Builders & Landscaping Services to see if they could address the issue. They indicated there is no warranty associated with their work and they would like to charge another $80 service fee to look at the same problem again. Long story short, poor customer service. Save yourself the headache and steer clear!
New Gehan home in Blackhawk. 2 weeks old. Sprinkler system had a leak since we moved. Noticed the leak after two weeks . Finally they fixed the leak. Company said someone will be here next day to clean up the area and provide new grass. No one showed. Called three times and the only answer we get is that they are very busy and someone will call. Only way to get someone to notice you is call repeatedly. Bad job installing the sprinkler system to begin with and now poor warranty service.
CAUTIOn—STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! We bought our house new and this was the landscape company the builder had hired to do our irrigation system before we bought the house. A few months after we bought the house, our irrigation system sprang two leaks and we got a water bill that was over 250% of what our water had been since we moved in. The company came out to work on our system and they did make the needed repairs. However, when it came time for them to repay us for the extra charges on our water bill, they refused because they said we had been watering it manually instead of automatically. We fought hard, and in the end the landscape company never paid, but the builders of the house ended up paying us back.
Yesterday, we had the good fortune to have CJ extend a sprinkler pipe and check out our timer. Unfortunately, somehow, we messed up the timer. CJ is a real asset to BLS. He was courteous, prompt, clear in his communications of what he did to fix our timer, and respectful of 6 foot distancing. The latter is important to my wife in I, being in the high risk category for the virus. So, we were grateful for his work.
