The MoreHands team was prompt and very friendly (even dealing with a very excited 70lbs dog). They were in and out within two hours but did a very thorough job, the attention to detail and level of cleanliness is definitely worth the value — I’ve set up recurring cleaning!
Have used Morehands for clean out service when moving and now for regularly scheduled service. Very pleased with results. Always find communication with the office easy with quick response. Crews are like little ninjas—quick, silent and leave the place spotless. Getting same day text updates regarding crew arrival is a plus. Haven’t tried the new laundry service yet but think that is a great addition.
I really wanted to like this place, especially with the great reviews, however, it was the worst experience. We paid Karina to clean the entire house, she only did the kitchen and living room. I was out of town for work so I had my partner use this service while I was gone to help clean after hosting Thanksgiving. I was planning to use this service weekly since my new job requires me to be gone a lot. Not only will I not be using this weekly, but I regret using them at all. After my partner told me that she only cleaned the kitchen and living room, I told him to call them to request for her or someone else to come back to finish the other rooms, and they refused. I got back from my trip to the fridge not cleaned at all, so I couldn't even tell you what she did in the kitchen. My partner did say our floors in the living room looked great, so that's good I guess. He also said she was really nice.
I decided to try MoreHands because of the great reviews but honestly such a let down. I decided to do recurring cleanings every 3 weeks (which was a discounted price for recurring) Short version: mediocre cleaning. When you cancel — shady and greedy. The cleaning itself: mediocre at best. The toilets and mirrors were cleaned well and really that’s it. Why would I pay for what is essentially a spot clean where crumbs on countertops are still visible, dirt and whatever else on the floor literally not vacuumed before mopping, and not to mention the mopping was so half assed. I had to clean after they left. Despite that I didn’t say anything to them or a review, I just decided bite my tongue and keep it pushing. But I guess that communicated to them that I was a sucker and a half, because when I went to cancel they decided to to charge me $75 without even notifying me. When I checked my bank account I see a 75$ charge from them and was immediately like wtf??? So I chat with them to ask what these charges were and they tell me they are charging be $68+tax for cancelling my recurring cleanings. They say that they messaged me that they would charge me but I received no such communication in their chat feature or through email or text when I initially cancelled. Also if that was the case and they did communicate that, I ultimately still did not approve those charges before they were charged; I gave them no verbal or written consent to charge my card. Really shady behavior. They ended up giving a $20.57 refund out of the $74.69 they initially charged me. Pretty greedy if you ask me.
I am so impressed by how quick and thorough our wonderful ladies were. They got stains out of our home that we’ve been trying to get out for years in their roughly 2 hours of cleaning our whole home. I definitely would have them come again.
